Western media is very bias no doubt, but check this video from MEMRI showing how twisted the Middle-Eastern media is. Especially in Iran and Palestine. The brainwashing starts at very young ages.
Do we need to counter this by putting messages against Islam on cartoons for 3 year olds?

Today there are missiles which don't strike us as impressive, but are more powerful than nuclear warheads. And that is the media. Most people believe nuclear power as the strongest one, however today the most powerful weapon is this increasing brainwashing mechanism mainly done by the media, especially to children. This media weapon is one that we should definitely not underestimate and is one that requires our most urgent attention.
The media has always been one of the strongest weapons. Even during the cold-war with Radio America, etc.
Now it is even stronger with all the technology available. However, some do get arrested for using the media as a medium to communicate the truth or oppose the government in place. Censorship is still a problem.
But, the power of the media is no doubt the most powerful weapon out there and highly used by Islamic states/terrorists to indoctrinate their young, recruit, distort the truth, disseminate their propaganda (Mahmoud is a really good example of media propaganda), etc.
I just wish the western media would be more powerful and take a strong stand for once. The only thing we can do is to use the internet. Check some of the links on the right side of the main page for more sites and blogs. Those will also link you to other sites and so on.
